HT 122 | Low 264 | AU 55 | R-5 |
A very pleasing piece overall.
Ex. Richard Gross Collection.
An exceptionally nice specimen of this very rare issue. The counterstamps on both sides are uniformly bold and are, indeed, stronger than the B&M 2002 Steinberg specimen which sold for $3220.00. This rare piece was missing from the John J. Ford collection.
The Charles Litman Collection, PCAC sale #72, December 6, 2003, lot 66.
