A muling in lead of the two observes (address side) has been reported to exist. The authenticity of the report, and the specimen have not been verified.

Die evidence study of the lettering and symbols (rosettes, beaded bordering, etc.) has led our colleague Wesley Cox to conclude that both HT 260 and 261 were engraved and struck by James Bale and his associates. The letters, numberals and symbols match those used on HT 117, 162, 258, 269, and 332, for example.
